How do I Direct Patients to PatientFi?

Overview

For many patients, PatientFi is a helpful option to assist in financing their Fertility Treatment. As a provider, you can assist your patients with learning more about their PatientFi financing options directly in EngagedMD using an Action to direct them to a page within their EngagedMD portal to explore PatientFi. 

After the Action is assigned, patients will receive a notification to open their EngagedMD portal. Once in the portal, they can review the Action which will direct them to a page within EngagedMD to learn more about PatientFi. On this page, patients can estimate costs, or go directly to PatientFi to apply. 

Note: The PatientFi Action is only available at clinics that have a partnership with PatientFi. If your clinic is interested in this partnership, please reach out to your EngagedMD representative or to PatientFi.

Steps

1. Assign the Action to your patient to explore PatientFi

1. Navigate to the patient using the search bar or through the “All Patients” tab
2. Click the “Add Assignment” button
3. Select the appropriate Bundle including the PatientFi action for your clinic, or the PatientFi Action called "Review Flexible Financing Options" to assign to the patient.
4. Click “Next”
5. Click “Assign” once you have confirmed the appropriate task participants
