When a patient fails all attempts at uploading their ID through the identity verification process, their ID upload will automatically be sent to the clinical reviewer on the envelope for manual approval or rejection of the supplied ID.
1. Patient View of Manual ID: The patient will see "We need more time to Verify your ID". They cannot take any further action until the Clinical Reviewer approves or rejects the ID upload. Here is an example:
2. Clinical Reviewer Acceesses Form: The Clinical Reviewer can then access the IDs to the reviewed in one of two ways:
A) Access directly through the EngagedMD Portal > Forms to Sign tab. A list of IDs needing attention will be present.
B) Access through an automated email sent with a link to access the ID to manually review. Here is an example of the email:
If the Clinical Review is not already signed in to the EngagedMD portal, they will be asked to sign in once they click on the Review IDS button in the email.
3. Clinical Reviewer Reviews ID: Once logged in, the Clinical Reviewer should access the Forms to Sign tab and choose the patient account. They can then click on Review.
5. A separate browser window will pop up on the screen which will contain the pictures of the ID taken by the patient. Here is an example, in the picture below you see a black screen, but when you review the ID it will display images of the ID the patient uploaded.
At the bottom of this same screen, the Clinical Reviewer will see two options ACCEPT ID and REJECT ID.
If the option to Accept ID is selected, the below confirmation message will appear in a pop-up window. The window may be closed.
If the option to Reject ID is chosen, another form will need to be assigned to the patient(s) to allow them another chance at IDV.
The Clinical Reviewer will see ID Verification Rejected when looking at the patient's account which indicates that the patient's ID could not be verified, either automatically or manually.
6. After the Clinical Reviewer manually reviews the patient's ID upload, the Patient will automatically be notified via email that their ID was accepted or rejected. This same email to the patient will contain a link to access and sign their assigned forms.
7. After the patient clicks on the Review Document button they will be redirected to their web browser.
The last action will be for the patient to review and sign the form assigned.
