What happens if a patient's country of origin is not supported?
If the country of origin is not supported, we suggest using Text Message (SMS) Authentication instead of ID Verification.
- Text Message (SMS) Authentication: This method requires that the signer receive an SMS text message at a specified phone number. The text message contains an access code, which the signer must enter to view your documents. The signer has three chances to enter the code correctly.
What happens if IDV fails?
The sender of the envelope receives an “ID Review Required” email from noreply@engagedmd.com asking them to manually verify the ID. If the sender accepts the ID, signers can access and complete the envelope. Otherwise, signers cannot access the envelope.
If the ID is rejected, the form will need to be assigned again.
