Patient Signing Experience

Patients are able to access forms directly through EngagedMD, thus providing a unified experience for patients to watch educational modules and sign forms. Patients are also able to access completed consent forms at any time in the future by logging back into the EngagedMD portal.

When logging into EngagedMD, patients will see the forms and/or modules assigned to them and their statuses.

The patient dashboard is divided into three sections:

• Forms to Sign
• Signed Forms
• Educational Modules

'Forms to Sign' Section

This section will contain the consents that the patient still has to sign. Patients will see forms pending their signature at the top. 

Below, any consents that are grayed out and say Pending-Waiting on others to sign will appear. These documents cannot be signed by the patient yet because there is another signer that has to complete the form before the patient can sign. Once that signer signs, the patient will receive an email notifying them that the form is ready to sign. 

'Signed Forms' Section

This section shows the completed consent forms that have already been signed by the patient. This does not mean that the consent has been signed by all signers. It only means that the patient has finished signing the consent form. Once the form is complete, the status will change from Waiting on others to Completed.

'Educational Modules' Section

This section shows the modules assigned to the patient.

Modules that have Unlocks Form labels in the top right corner are associated with consent forms and must be watched first before the patient can sign the form. Patients will know which forms are associated with these modules because the consent form will have a Locked status.
