Form Status
On the patient’s record, you can click on each form’s row to see the Individual Form Status or the Combined Form Status:
A signer can fall under the following statuses:
- Sent: The document has been sent to this signer and they are next in order to sign. You can resend the signing e-mail to this signer by clicking the ‘Remind’ button.
- Delivered: The signer has, at minimum, clicked the link in the e-mail to eSign.
- Completed: The signer has finished signing the document
- Needs to Sign: The previous signers have not yet finished signing the document, therefore, there is no available action for this signer to take.
- Carbon Copy Created: The recipient gets notified that they have a form that has been completed. The person can click on 'view form' and that will open up the document.
*If you use the carbon copy feature for a signer who also 'needs to sign' for another form in the same envelope then that person will receive two email notifications of completed forms - one because they are "needs to sign" and one because they are "cc'd.
Accessing Forms
Once a form has been completed by all signers, an automatic e-mail will be sent to each signer with the completed document. This email contains a secure link from which you can view and download the document.
Additionally, practices will always have access to their forms via the EngagedMD portal. On the patient’s record, click on the completed form to view its detailed status. You can then click the “View Consent” button to either view or download the PDF of the form if it is a single form.
If you click on a Combined Envelope, you will get three options to view the forms.
